      Honey Bee Robotics joint effort with NASA/JPL
      To be used on the Athena Rover manipulator arm, currently  under construction at JPL. This cable is the main “tendon” of the scoop or  shovel that will capture sample material from the Martial Surface.

                6 layer Rigid Flex Design. EMI shielding (silver  polymer), Bending with high reliability is required. Boeing and Pioneer  Circuits tested this construction in a simulated Martian Atmosphere with proven  success prior to launch. Design, material selection, blue print documentation  and end item knowledge all contributed to the success of this cable.
